This chapter presented you with an overview of the Internal Application Manager Subsystem. You learned the purpose of this subsystem. You learned how to manage application state issues for Internet and desktop applications and application settings and user preferences. This chapter also discusses how to use the Windows 95 Registry and VB5 and the older INI file. Logging user interactions with the application, errors and exceptions, and memory allocations/deallocations is also covered. You learned how to manage the classes in the subsystem, as well as their methods, properties, arguments, and returns. Finally, you incorporated the subsystem into the Samsona Bank Teller System example. |
